Transportation
The closest airport to the venue is Nagasaki Airport (NGS). Most of international travellers will reach Nagasaki Airport from Haneda Airport (HND) in Tokyo by taking a domestic flight. From Nagasaki Airport to Nagasaki City, you can take a limousine bus called "Airport Liner" to Nagasaki Station (43min). It costs 1,200JPY for one way. You could also reach Nagasaki Station from Fukuoka Airport followed by the express train "JR Shinkansen" (Japanese bullet train).
From Nagasaki Station to the conference venue is only 1 minute walking.

Local Transportation in Nagasaki City
In Nagasaki City, local transportation such as tram and public bus is available and useful, especially when you want to explore the city. Please see the links below for the details.

It might be more convenient to buy a transportation IC card, SUGOCA (used in Kyushu area), which can be used for both tram and bus including the limousine bus from(to) Nagasaki Station to(from) Nagasaki Airport. SUGOCA can be purchased in Nagasaki Station by 2,000JPY (1,500JPY electrci money + 500JPY deposit). The IC card can be used in convenient stores, vending machines, and many restaurants/shops across Japan.
＊If you already have different type of IC card such as SUICA and PASMO (used in Tokyo area), it can be also used for most of cases in Nagasaki CIty. You can recharge it at Nagasaki Station or convient stores such as 7-eleven ATM.
