Excursion

The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Sam Houston State University invites you for an evening of stargazing at the new Dominey Observatory, which is located about ten miles north of our main campus in Huntsville, TX.  This facility was designed for full wheelchair accessibility and features a state-of-the-art telescope with a 27” diameter mirror.  We will depart from College Station after conference activities on Friday, May 24th (transportation provided).  Food will be served at the destination prior to the start of observing.

If you have decided on your participation, please update your registration information. We can then arrange the transportation accordingly.
