How to reach Edinburgh

 

Air travel

 

Transport links to and from the venue are excellent, with Edinburgh International airport just 15km from the city centre. This has direct connections to over 150 destinations, including frequent flights to and from London where an even larger range of destinations are available. The airport is connected to the city by a tram system, and dedicated buses running every ten minutes (travel time approx 25 minutes). Taxis are also available, taking around 20 minutes for the journey (around £20 each way).

Glasgow International Airport is also easily accessible.

Rail travel

 

Edinburgh is well connected to the rest of the UK through rail and coach links (e.g. trains to London every 30 minutes).

 

By car

 

As you approach Edinburgh take the City by-pass (A720). Exit at Sheriffhall Roundabout, take the A7 and head for the city centre. Stay on the A7 which becomes Dalkeith Road. Turn right at the Royal Commonwealth Pool onto Holyrood Park Road (approximately 4 miles) and the entrance to Pollock Halls is approximately 200m on the right.

JMCC and EICC are  within walking distance of city centre with all its attractions.
Excellent buses and taxi services.
