Description
In this contribution the engineering changes introduced after the September 19 incident will be revisited, in the light of a 5 TeV physics run, and beyond. Some of these measures needs consideration as they were adapted, or commissioned for the initial low energy run. Also, the non conformities that need to be closed in order to run at 5 TeV will be discussed along with an estimate of the needed time and resources.
Voltages, current ramp rates, and accelerations, heat loads and superconductor margins at higher energies will be reviewed with regard to their impact and limitations on QPS, EE, PC, ELQA, cryogenics and all other systems. A sketch of the required consolidation work on these essential magnet system will be presented.
