Venue:
I have reserved a room for us in the physics department at Jagiellonian University. This department is located outside the city but has multiple and regular tram connections which take ~20 minutes.
Krakow has many options for hotels, AirBnB.. etc. So there is plenty
of choice for you all. One recommendation would be to choose accommodation that aligns with the tram connections to the university. If you have any other enquiries or needs please get in touch with me. Some hotels are near the university but note the area is very residential.
Travel to Krakow:
Krakow’s airport is quite well connected. There are multiple connections
with the UK including Newcastle. From Germany, you have direct flights from Frankfurt and Munich. Alternatively, you could consider flying to Katowice airport which may have a better connection (I have done this myself). Do note that you will have to take a bus transfer to reach Krakow. It is direct non-stop from the airport to Krakow but please let me know if you want to do this and I will help with arranging the transfer. In terms of train travel to Krakow, I have never done it but there are trains from Berlin to Krakow.
